About CCLA

Cultural Connections Latin America (CCLA) was born in April 2020 with the initial motivation of creating artistic mobility circuits in the region. With COVID-19 as a backdrop, the network became a space to share experiences on how the pandemic was being faced in other territories and what strategies were being implemented.

It is currently made up of 20 professionals distributed in 11 countries of the American continent, including festivals and venues presenters – both public and private, as well as music agents and producers.

Objectives

Among its objectives are:

  • strengthen professional networks in the region
  • encourage artistic mobility in the region
  • promote the professional development of the music sector
  • promote cultural exchanges
  • boost economic growth and social development based on the creative economy

Activities

CCLA carry out the following activities:

  • Organizing meetings and encounters, both virtual and face-to-face
  • Producing events and actions to increase visibility of Latin American artists and promote cultural exchanges
  • Promoting mentoring initiatives and the exchange of professional knowledge

CCLA upholds a common set of values including:
